About Us

Our team has been importing, packaging, and wholesale trading salt since 1992. Our mission: to consistently supply high-quality salt to all residents of Latvia. This seems like a simple task, but it's important to remember that salt is a strategically important commodity that is not produced in Latvia, and all supplies depend on regular imports in the event of pandemics and other geopolitical upheavals. Our core value is long-term stability under any circumstances. We strive to always have 90% of our salt assortment in stock.

Further proof of our stability is the consistently high quality of our salt. From the very beginning, we have carefully selected salt producers and other suppliers. This allows us to promptly provide all necessary certificates and other quality documents, as well as conduct rapid product traceability checks. All our salt is imported to Latvia in packaged form, without the use of bulk cargo. We regularly verify that our suppliers comply with the latest sustainability standards in both production and logistics, and we strictly adhere to them ourselves.

Our product range currently optimally covers most of the salt needed in Latvia for household use, industry, and agriculture. We represent leading European brands such as Broxo, Soft-Sel, Marsel, Suprasel, and KNZ. Among our more than 50 products, a special place is undoubtedly occupied by one of the oldest and most beloved Latvian brands Pavāriņš. In the small white Pavāriņš packets, packaged in Riga, that salt most often finds its way into every Latvian home, and our task is to tirelessly provide you with the best and most suitable salt. We know where the salt is!

Salt extraction and processing technologies are improving, and the salt trade is modernizing. Our new corporate website was created with support from the European Union's Digital Transformation program, financed by the Recovery Fund. By promoting Latvia's digital development, we have found an e-commerce solution even for such a specific business as wholesale salt trade: customers can check product availability online, and for smaller purchases, there is no need to visit the warehouse in Riga, as we can arrange delivery remotely by couriers and parcel machines.
